Kidding! It's free of course. But that doesn't mean that a lot of hard work didn't go into it.
Since its inception, the annual gathering of Liquid dancers at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival has acted as a measuring stick for our community. Some shake hands as they meet new people. Others give hugs as they remeet with old. New and old faces alike join together to share the ideas they've been working on since the last gathering. People from all over the country and of all walks of life come together for one weekend in order to acheive a single goal. That sounds like a recipe for progress and that's exactly what DEMF 2010, like years past, meant to me.
I've put over 40 hours of work into this clip over the last 2 weeks. This year I'm also working with a professional editing application that I started working with...2 weeks ago. The clip is a little rough around the edges. Working with audio was pretty much impossible so like most audio dubs, the dancers are not synced perfectly. This is just something I didn't have time for but is at the top of my list to work on in the coming clips. Regardless, this is by far the most professional video I've ever made and I'm proud of it and the dancers who came out to DEMF 2010 to take part in our community's annual tradition.
Big thanks to everyone involved. Couldn't happen without you.
