woo VLC strikes again. :)

lucas, thanks for coming out and not being camera shy. means a lot to me and i think everyone else here too.  every year as i talk to people in the following weeks of DEMF, one thing everyone mentions is how much they've improved over those weeks simply by reflecting back and trying to digest all the new stuff they saw over the weekend and you were a big part of that.

hey thanks for the kind words man. if theres anything behind pushing forward prgression its get out there and see all the styles, in person.

in the back of my mind all i kept telling myself is make sure your doing "futuristic ideas" like "fixed point liquid because it is the future, now." not sure how i ever missed "style blending" in my shit because obviously my "unstructured wallowing contortion based style" is dead.  zzz

i'll admit i havent given the levers concept much thought (ive honestly been occupied with tiny's ol skool rails with folds) but perping what you guys can do with it in that footage made me a believer. tommy has some nasty arms for it and your technicality blends nicely with it. time to play with levers now.

werd, it's still new and we havent been doing much of a good job in getting the concept exposure on the net. like all supposed new concepts, seeing is believing and simply reading about it and seeing an internet snippet of it will come with a lot of criticism, even if it goes unspoken.  i remember years ago on reflective where it seemed like every other week there was a new thread about some 'new concept' that either a) wasnt a concept at all or b) was a rehashing of a previously existing concept.  unfortunately the tools to build concepts just hasnt really been made available imo and atm people are just stumbling into new things, sometimes not even realising it it's new territory or (like in the past) thinking it is when it's not.  hoping that between myself and tmy we can start making levers more accessible for learning.  i've got some neat ideas to combine with my after effects training to make this possible.

render crashed with 2 hours left.  fucking redgiant plugins... re-compiling. should be done in ~5 hours. then uploading time + youtube/vimeo rendering time.
