HOW TO LINK EVENTS TO THE CALENDAR

We have a calendar on these forums.  It's located at the top of the forums near "home, search" etc.  There are two ways to link a post in these forums to the Calendar on the web page.  These ways are as follows:

1) Click "Calendar." A new page is opened to show the current events for the current month.  Scroll to the bottom and click "post new event."  Put the title of the event and where it's located in the calendar (ie: DEMF - Detroit, MI) and click "Post."  A new screen will appear to allow you to make the post that will show in the Meetups forum for everyone to see.

2) Make a post in the meetup forum as you normally would.  After the post is made, view the post and scroll to the bottom of the page.  Click "link to calendar."  Give your event a title that will appear on the calendar (ie: DEMF - Detroit, MI).
