yea def lookin more techy again this year. maybe that'll be enough to get my ass out to an afterparty or 3 this year tho(i didnt goto any last year due to being content with the fest's lineup)

update: checked their myspace and they are booked the first 2 days of demf, god dammit.

Hopefully the "More to be announced" means they'll be putting up some good headliners. I guess it doesn't matter... even if the lineup blows.. I'll be showing up.

this is what i don't get.  not to peg you Zero cuz i did it for years too and finally boycotted last year, but: why do we continue to use this event as a meetup if most of the people going think the lineup sucks?  yes, i understand that perhaps LPC of yesteryear had some kind of special attachment to (wack) headliners, but come on--who is meeting up this year and why are we as a group choosing to spend money to meet at this rather than something better?

all im saying is: if you have to choose between UGS and DEMF, for the love of christ save your money and do UGS.  if you're going to both (like myself), kudos.  I'm primarily going this year because i have a large floasis project to work on that requires me to be in detroit some time and it might as well be that weekend but as of 2011 personally i'm saying fuck DEMF until they shape up with the real talent.

i mean when u think about it tho, its really the only annual midwest edm fest besides ugs, and its far enough time-wise from ugs, and cheaper than most fest. so theres ur appeal(location+price), we're only 4hrs away so its not that bad but if i lived out east i'd be like mehhh.


hey rich or kev if u see this: i was wondering do either of you possibly know one fo the booth vendors or know someone who knows someone perhaps, it'd be pretty cool if we could get some shelf space for our tshirts .
