Had an absolute blast at the Summer Massive, for me this is def one of the best ones that I have attended.  I got to meet some really amazing people (you all know who you are) and see some craaaaazy CRAAZY digits..my mind is still blown. 

Bukem's set was sexy.. straight up jungle, good shit.  I enjoyed BBB's set a lot as well.  Also, was it just me --or what I was on-- or did you guys also feel that the vibe was a lot better than it has been in the past?  I felt like there was more of a connection between the younger crowd and the older crowd.. there seemed to be more of a sense of awareness, respect, and more curiosity about the diff styles of dancing that were going on.. just an observation.

Thanks for having us over, Lucas.  Yer pad is pretty sweet :)

What a fantastic weekend, all of which for me is owed to a few amazing people that made it all possible.

Yejoon you are such an amazing person! The comfort level provided by this man is unsurpassable. Staying at his home with his family for the night felt no different than staying at my own home... although at home I don't get amazing home made Korean BBQ!!! Such a great dinner. It was so nice to see You, Amanda, and Alex. Alex is growing up to be one amazing kid, and it can only be a result of having such great parents.

  Having never really talked to houdoken too much outside of demf meet ups, this is one hell of a guy also. Interesting and articulate, talented, driven, and he plays a great host to someone he barely knows. I owe this guy a ton for what he did for me over the weekend, above and beyond providing some of the sickest digit concepts (and execution of said concepts) I have ever seen. I hope you can make it to demf next year so I can repay you for all that you have done!


    Party crew! It was great hanging with all of you and meeting all of you!  Lucas, Jared, and Chico you are party animals! Joon, Houdoken, Amanda, and Tien you held down proper dancing all night long. I wish I could have seen more of what Tien is capable of, but I am sure I will in time.

    I must apoligize for my subdued dancing at the party, one popping session went a little over board and really taxed my lower back, and I spent the rent of the night... and sunday... and today paying the bill. I also must apoligize to the afters party crew, I wanted to make it so bad, but I was bruised, tattered, exhausted, and spent on all levels... I just wanted hamburgers and sleep.

The music was good also. I wasn't feeling Micro or Feelgood, but surprisingly I LOVED Icey!!! LTJ ripped it, and who ever played 2 sets before him fucking slaughtered the crowd with d&b and brostep!

A few memorable moments

Jared teaching some shirtless raver digits based on figers concouring a tenis ball. Jared explains for like 5 minutes about what can do with it, and how to use it. The ravers first question after Jared speel... "What's holding up the ball"?

My new T-shirt idea "Tripping is no excuse for Trance"

Lucas's glasses, and his interactions with passer-byer ravers... Fuck that kid is hilarious! He's like PWT, but instead of interacting with the them, he just makes fun of them!

    My final thought, next B-more party that ends in Massive... I'll be there.

these things are every season except winter, can't wait to see you in a few months ;)

tien is in the shower so i have a minute to write something proper. i had such a good time. embarassingly, i had the most fun dancing to booty house and trance, as great as the bigger name djs were. probably could have rationed my energy better, but i don't like holding back, especially with all that floor space at the beginning of the night.

kevin - great house guest, you're always welcome to stay here any time you find your way out east. maybe next time we can roast or smoke a big chunk of meat. your liquid these days is looking very trickly, too bad your back crapped out on you. get it? craps? heh

matt - such mindblowing digitz, this guy can just think a concept and it will manifest in his fingers. you live too close for the amount of time that goes by without us hanging out like that, we must do this more often, including the go game.

i loved that we all ended up taking over the geek store for a half hour. the clerk held his own though

luke - that mirror in your living room is killer. looks like your place is all coming together and ready for practice sessions. shame we didn't see you and jared and elena all that much, but i guess that's what happens at parties with 20 rooms and that many people. that 2-person digitz thing you and elena had going was pretty cool

lol, it was serious proof as to why liquid dancers get NO ass! We walked into the comic book shop and straight dominated! It was the biggest dork out I have ever seen. Could you imagine if like 7 or 8 liquid dancers went in there? It would turn into a big ol dork party.
