I've been collecting dubstep the past few months and am in the mood for something else..not too educated on the genres but the tracks listed below are some of my favs and would love anything close to them....

Well this may not be close but like 3 years ago some guys did something called dirtystep where they mixed dirty south vocals with dubstep... not like dubstep today but more dubby. has rapping though as that was the point haha.

There were two mixtapes I can''t find the first one but here's the 2nd:

But if you want stuff with a hip hop feel try and find purple style dubstep like Joker. Here's one of my favorites

LOL at dirtystep...where are all these stupid names coming from. When I first heard dirty south lyrics over dubstep back in 06/07 it was called thugstep.

Dirtystep is new to me...genre overkill is happening with each retarded new name brought out. thugstep, dirtystep, drumstep, fuckyoustep, brostep, sitonmythumbandspinstep....its dubstep

Yeah haha I remember people fighting about it back then when the dirtystep mixtape was released... the whole thugstep thing. It kind of died out though. But seriously somebody needs merge dirty south snap music with dubstep sans vocals. The snare sits back the same way but there's the whole snare roll thing I haven't heard in dubstep yet. Plus the producers from the south seem to get a pretty good swing going on too. It'd be a nice mix imo

Anyways another hip hop vocal in a song. Don't really dig the female vocal but whatever...

I think Joker and MartyParty have southern swagga to their beats, at least more so than other artist that fall into the "dubstep" range.
