"Close to absolute zero, some liquids form a second liquid state described as superfluid because it has zero viscosity or infinite fluidity. This was discovered in 1937 for helium which forms a superfluid below the lambda temperature of 2.17 K. In this state it will attempt to 'climb' out of its container"

Dope quote..

Does it seem like your just building random shapes,or a structure with purpose like steps, cubes, or ladders?

"2. Hand/ Arm Builds - Stacking your hands one after another creates flow. One hand is following the other. Stacking your hands means your arms may stack each other. (This is one way tutters can achieve flow even though they may not understand it like this"

I think the ones really into it do......Liquid and Tutting have more in common than any other 2 dance styles I've seen...and I think thats because they're opposites.

Well it seems youtube isn't ready for liquid as a solid phase. The video continually defects... this is the weirdest thing ever. Screw it I'm taking my business to vimeo.

It's all of that. Both concrete and abstract.

I think the best way to show an idea is polar opposites.  solid<------>liquid

youtube is so ez even a caveman can do it :pp

anywho, to quote the late great chris farley, "tommy like wingy!"

diggin this style better than most your other stuff and cant wait to see the improvements you make, imo this clip is just a basic representation of what you were talking about in ur post. work in:

some levels/
speed control/
using space other than the front of jur torso/
mixing in some of ur old handwave style to accentuate the builds/

and it will be sexy-time for all. also i found the transition to ur digit chars was sorta meh but the transition back to liquid was good. very exciting clip overall.

hey Birdcage! Nice

so what are u callin it? stacks? how bout short stacks? or shawt stax?

anyways, this non hand wave flow is sweet..... i've been playing with this kind of flow a bit for a lil while....maybe a year or more? And im pretty sure this is Kai's entire liquid enterprise?

Not trying to take anything away from you or anything....just agreeing that it opens things up. Maybe not as revolutionary as splits....but hey its pretty neat.

I think i first started trying to do use similar stacking flow in my liquid after i saw Mr Wiggles make it look good in one of his vids... i think it was a Tech segment, it looked badass and started exploring.
I use the idea more in digitz than liquid tho.

The flips and rotations i also started exploring last year.

Oh and 1:21 - 1:24 completely blew my mind.

MKG has already made a (digitz) concept called stacking (that birdage demonstrated in a prior clip actually), and this concept in liquid is somewhat similar.  birdage, did david's digitz stacking have an influence on this liquid "stacking" concept?

i wrote up a peice and made a video about removing the handwave from liquid about a year ago.  it didn't seem to be a well-accepted idea at the time.  as i've progressed since march 07, i've been removing it more and more in favour of build-related concepts that have little use for it.  this will be apparent in the clip i make for spring cleaning (while it's not the focus).   i actually first saw this by a guy named Genesis from the reflective forums.  he was doing liquid without any trance of a handwave (and doing it well) in like ~04.
