hey I just read Birdage's review.....  i agree with what he said except i just wanted to add that there is no final level, no way. Its only a matter of time before one "final level" gets superseded by somebody more commited.

anyways..... that's all...

....im strugglin bad with making my liquid make sense at the moment.... so im blown away by the clarity and precision here. Damn!!!!!!!!

thanks for all the kind words guys, i really wasnt expecting it :). i didnt think it wasnt that much of a step forward from my previous clip(s), but then again my previous clip(s) were 1/3rd the size. apparently some of the movement was lost in translation heh.

but yea i definitely have a challenge ahead of me, i made ~20 clips in 3 days cause i didnt want to put up a clip that i could best simply by concentrating harder, rather something i'd have to dedicate and strengthen my body for.

Yeah that's true. I think people with entitlement issues have problems continuing on if someone can beat them, though. I get the feeling that some people think their dance is some sort of special snowflake or some crap. They have the inability to reflect on their personal accomplishment and be happy. You're never going to be happy if you rely too much on validation from others or feel like someone's biting your moves or whatever. Get over yourself. Someone is always going to be better and have better ideas or make your ideas better. There's a difference between wanting to be a good dancer and simply wanting to dance. Dancing isn't hard you just do it b/c you want to. All the extra stuff with getting props and stuff that's just fluff. Like I've said before I rarely dance in public anymore but I still dance everyday b/c I enjoy it. The reason I think people like that guy approach me sometimes is b/c they feel the genuineness in my dance. I mean at that particular moment I was standing with other dancers who could do the same things as me. But he talked to me. I was like these other guys they're doing the same thing. He said "I know but they aren't flowing. You're flowing." Weird he described it like that especially since he didn't know what kind of dance I was doing.

So the main point is you'll stop if you don't want to dance or are looking for some sort of outside verification. When I say don't stop it means continue on with the initial feeling the dance gave you. The thing that drew it to you. Getting frustrated that you can't be the best is acting like a spoiled little kid. Being healthy enough to dance is a great gift. You may not always be able to do it.

Birdcage...  i can see how u interpreted my words that way... but u flew way off track.  You would be on track if you had interpreted correctly..... but i guess that's the internet for ya.

Get over myself? Are u serious? What a strange thing to say.

Of course somebody is always going to be better, that goes without saying.... i was simply saying that to me...the idea of a 'final level' is either ignorant or defeatist. Unless of course fun is the only thing u are in it for, and you want to bob back and forth metronomically for the rest of ur days.  I don't think 'metronomically' is a word but i think u get the idea. Fun fun fun .....  rolling on the ground waving my arms..... shouting happy noises. That's where its at. I know its not black and white like that, but oh well.

anyways, ur response is typical of internet forums, overheated and unrelated to the intention i had.

Tommy's clip was sick!

It's not always about you baby haha. I was just rounding out my first post. But I wasn't talking to you except for the first line. The rest was just a general rant. Of course it can be about you if you want to be.

Edit: And to further clarify that rant comes from personal experience. In the past I made the "entitlement" mistake and lost things I could have had out of pride.
