I noticed an improvement in your overall liquid, but not necessarily in the actual strobing. This clip was definitely more interesting to watch. It had more flow pattern variations and I liked the speed changes. As for the strobing, I think the problem is that while your hands are sufficiently starting and stopping, your upper arms or torso or something is still in motion, and so it looks like you aren't really starting and stopping.

This clip might not be how you normally dance, as the focus was on strobing your liquid, but I thought I'd mention that planted feet. I'm sure you could come up with something cool to do with them. There's moment that look like they could have potential in this. Like 1:17 or so, you start to get on the ball of your foot, maybe if you kept going to do something, I don't know. That's on you, I suppose.

Great job! :)

So far you've shown the most improvement imo (but I haven't looked at Distortion's clip). You really leveled up there. It looks a whole lot better. Holding your body still facilitates the illusion well. If you keep on your isolations you'll be really good in a few months here. Part of my dance crosses over with yours in the aspect of standing still. The things I use to create more dynamic movement without actually moving are body isolations. Specifically knees and chest. There's a foot isolation where you can twitch your foot to the outside without picking it up that I like to use also. You can look at popping videos and pick it up if you want to give your feet something to do. Just remember to "sequence" your isolations. Tiger has a tutorial on his youtube page that really helps explain the concept.

Whoa, this clip just sent a lightbulb off in my head. I think it's just what I've been looking for.

better overall with liquid in general, but not too much improvement in the animated side. i think the speed at which you're trying to stop exceeds your technical ability and it's hindering the illusion. try to spread those dimestops out.  instead of doing them every 1/2 second, try to half-time that to every 1 second.

also, that box rail is a mess.  the movements you're doing at :36, :48, etc.  you need to lift the elbow of your trailing arm (in this case, your right arm).  you're letting that elbow sit down low and as you move the illusion sideways, it looks like that elbow is running into this imaginary box you're trying to create.  lift that elbow up so it helps structure the top of the box as you're moving your hands across it.

Aight folks....I read and re-read your comments. The ones from the 1st clip are the reason the 2nd turned out better. Ya'lls eyes def. helped. thx again. I'm gonna work on my iso's, footwork, animation, pacing my stops, cleaning up my rails, and prolly start some threading too. It's alot but if this shit was easy I wouldn't be at it.

Dope exercise too, if we keep doing things like this I bet we'll all get alot better and fast. To quote Wu-Tang..."I got wit a sick tight click and went all out"

that box rail is a mess.

Yeah I agree. It's more like a plastic grocery bag rail right now :D I'm gonna hit this one hard, gimme a few months ;)
